ADRA Seeds of Hope in Bidibidi Refugee Settlement

Through the Aspire Project, ADRA Uganda supports communities to strengthen livelihoods, improve food security and create opportunities for a more self-reliant future. From vegetable gardens and rice farming to modern rice processing, vocational training and support for vulnerable adolescent girls and young women, the project is helping communities turn skills and resources into sustainable opportunities. The impact can already be seen: • Farmers are increasing food production and accessing local markets. • A modern rice processing machine is helping farmers process rice faster and more efficiently. • Household gardens are helping families provide nutritious food for their children. • School attendance has increased from 900 to 1,355 children. • Vulnerable girls and young women, including teenage mothers and school dropouts, are gaining vocational and life skills.
