Crochet Chunky Rose Tutorial | Chenda DIY Hello everyone, in today's video I'll be showing you how to CROCHET A CHUNKY ROSE, it is a really easy pattern and friendly for beginners. Please enjoy the tutorial :) *Things you will need : Chunky Chenille yarn, size 6 2 balls of red colour & 2 balls of green colour (100g per ball) 6.5 mm hook Fiber stuffing -Thick steel wire (for support the stem) Scissors Stitch marker Darning needle *Crochet Terms & Abbreviations (US terms) Ch : Chain Sk : Skip SC : Single Crochet DC : Double Crochet HDC : Half Double Crochet TR : Treble/Triple Crochet MR/MC : Magic Ring/Magic Circle BLO : Back Loop Only Sl St : Slip Stitch Inc : Increase Dec : Decrease St/Sts : Stitch/Stitches 🌹 CROCHET CHUNKY ROSE PATTERN 🌹 *Petals 🌹🥀 Ch 50 Row 1: Sk 3 Ch, DC into each Ch, (48 Sts) Row 2: Ch 3, turn, Inc ( DC x2 into the same loop ), repeat into each St, (96 Sts) Row 3: Ch 3, turn, DC into each St, (96 Sts) Row 4: Small Petals * Ch 2, turn (DC, TR x2, DC, Ch 2, Sl St into the same loop with DC), Sl St, (Ch 2 DC into the same loop with Ch 2, TR x2, DC, Ch 2, Sl St into the loop with DC). Medium Petals * Sl St, (Ch 2, DC into the same loop with Ch 2, TR x2, Ch 1, Sl St into the top of TR, TR, DC, Ch 2, Sl St into the same loop with DC), repeat x2. *You must have 3 medium petals in total Large Petals * Sl St, ( Ch 2, DC into the same loop with Ch 2, TR x3, Ch 1, Sl St into the top of TR, TR x2, DC, Ch 2, Sl St into the same loop with DC ), repeat x3. *You must have 4 large petals in total. Extra Large * Sl St, ( Ch 2, DC into the same loop with Ch 2, TR x4, Ch 1, Sl St into the top of TR, TR x3, DC, Ch 2, Sl St into the same loop with DC ), repeat x4. *You must have 5 extra large petals in total. Sepal * 💚 • MR Row 1: SC x12 into the circle, Sl St. Row 2: Ch 1, Inc ( SC x2 into the same loop), repeat into each St around, Sl St. ( 24 Sts ) Row 3: Ch6, (Sl St, SC, HDC x2, DC x2, Sk 3 Sts, Sl St into the 4th St), repeat around. Leaves *🍃🌿 • Double foundation Ch x13. Row 1: (SC x2 into the same loop, SC, HDC, DC x2, TR x4, DC, HDC, SC, Sl St) Row 2: ( Ch 2, Sl St, SC, HDC, DC, TR x4, DC x2, HDC, SC x2, Sl St into the first SC ) *Repeat the same thing like the first leaf x3, in total you must have 4 leaves. • Attach 2 leaves together by Sl St into each BLO around both sides of the leaves. • Repeat the same thing with the other 2 leaves. *You must have 2 attached leaves. Stem * • MR Row 1: SC x6 into the circle Row 2: ( Inc, SC ), repeat into each St. (9 Sts) Row 3 - 22: SC into each St around.
