Lawrence Welk - 1960s - February 13, 1960 (almost complete - see desc)

This episode was simply labeled Lawrence Welk 1960 but, looking at the content and info from the Classic TV Archive, I place it as the February 13, 1960 Valentine's Day show. It's almost complete but we lose the ending after a stirring Glee Club rendition of "Battle Hymn of the Republic." After that Lawrence was about to feature one of the musicians when the show is cut. I'm guessing it could have been Dick Kesner who frequently has a beautiful violin solo. Anyway an almost complete very entertaing program from a nice enhanced film scan. Enjoy the show.    • Lawrence Welk Collection
