Dragon's Dogma II: How to defeat the Sphinx

You can defeat the Sphinx without letting her flee by avoiding her human parts (the head and chest), or simply use an Unmaking Arrow to kill her instantly. You can get two Unmaking Arrows during your entire playthrough: one as a reward from her riddles (Riddle of Recollection from the 2nd batch of her riddle questline), and another that you can later purchase from the Dragonforged.
