Rio Grande Southern 41 Knotts Berry Farm plus Pettibone 441-D speedswing and MOW equipment

Here is Rio Grande Southern 41 which had returned to the railroad. Back in December the 41 had returned to Knotts Berry Farm after undergoing refurbishment in Durango Colorado. Once 41 got here it did some test runs but wasn’t used for passengers just yet. Its sister engine 340 would finish up the 2023 Christmas season and the railroad would remain close after that for track work. Jump to the Boysenberry festival the railroad had reopened with RGS 41 running. Once I seen it was running I went to see this train back in service after it leaving in 2022. You can also see MOW equipment in the siding next to the tracks as they hadn’t took them out yet.
