Autumnal Soap Spiced Orange

Spiced Orange soap. The bottom and top layers are colored with annatto powder, with a pencil line of walnut hull powder dividing the natural batter, which is mixed with calendula petals and chamomile. Formula: 40 0z. batch. 35% water. 7% Castor Oil 20% Coconut Oil 38% Olive Oil 20% Shea Butter 15% Kokum Butter Additives of white kaolin clay and colloidal oatmeal (both heated in with warm oils). Post-cook additives are sodium lactate, apple cider vinegar, sugar, and yogurt. Mulberry silk is dissolved into the lye water. The actual cook took less than 10 minutes at a low temperature. It's a lovely soap and was very easy to work with. The essential oil blend is orange 10X, rosemary, black pepper, cloves, and patchouli.
