Sri Nilothpala Nayike | Reethigowla | Day 9 – Navarathri Raga Offering 🙏

*Day 9 – Sri Nilothpala Nayike | Reethigowla | Rupaka Tala* Presenting “Sri Nilothpala Nayike,” one of the *Nilotpalamba Vibhakti kritis* composed by Sri Muthuswami Dikshitar in praise of the presiding deity of Tiruvarur. For this presentation, I have chosen the aesthetically appealing rendition of **Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna**, whose version I personally connect with and felt would resonate with listeners. This is a humble attempt to explore his rendition style rather than a presentation based on the version documented in *Sampradaya Pradarshini*. *Ragam:* Reethigowla *Talam:* Rupaka *Composer:* Sri Muthuswami Dikshitar *Arohanam:* S G2 R2 G2 M1 N2 D2 M1 N2 N2 S *Avarohanam:* S N2 D2 M1 G2 M1 P M1 G2 R2 S #SriNilothpalaNayike #Reethigowla #MuthuswamiDikshitar #Nilotpalamba #CarnaticMusic #Balamuralikrishna #RagaOffering #Navaratri
