Lesson learned: Don't buy the cheapest brake rebuild kit on the internet! In this video, I troubleshoot the front brake master cylinder on the Honda V65 Sabre build. After hours of trying to push fluid through from both the top and bottom with zero pressure, I discovered the cheap eBay rebuild kit was completely failing to seal and pump fluid. Swapping over to an authentic Honda OEM master cylinder rebuild kit made all the difference—the plunger design and cupped seals immediately began moving fluid and building firm lever pressure.
