Jonah Hex And The Shadow Of Death #1 and The Demon #1 | Fantastic Forum

The Old West is haunted, Hell is hungry, and DC is making sure nobody gets a peaceful night's sleep. This week on Fantastic Forum, we're diving into two new #1 issues: Jonah Hex and the Shadow of Death and The Demon. In Jonah Hex and the Shadow of Death #1, writer and artist Michael Walsh takes DC's hard-bitten bounty hunter into supernatural horror. A broken-down Hex is trying to live out his days in the dying town of Ashecott, but something evil has arrived, and a child with mysterious abilities is in danger. Can a man haunted by his own past find redemption when the next threat might be something bullets can't stop? Then James Harren takes the reins on The Demon #1, writing and illustrating a new chapter for Jason Blood and his infernal alter ego, Etrigan. Hell's creatures are feeding on humanity's souls, and Jason may be the only one who can stop them. But with a fractured mind, a divided soul, and a demonic voice demanding to be let loose, saving the world might be the easy part. Two dark new takes on DC legends, one very creepy comic book conversation. Saddle up, summon the Demon, and join us as we find out which nightmare gets under our skin.
