In this video, we solve Questions 7 to 12 of the End-of-Chapter Exercises of Chapter 12 Quadrilaterals (Ganita Manjari Part 2, Class 9 NCERT new syllabus) step by step, with clear diagrams.
📌 Questions covered:
Q7 – A more general Midpoint Theorem for a trapezium: EF = (AB + CD)/2, and its converse
Q8 – A line through O, the meeting point of the diagonals of a parallelogram: show that O is the midpoint of PQ (two proofs)
Q9 ★ – Ratio of areas in a trapezium with parallel sides 3 cm and 5 cm (Answer 7 : 9)
Q10 – Four points, how many quadrilaterals? Convex, non-convex and self-intersecting cases
Q11 – Equally spaced parallel lines: finding QC and proving AP/PB = AQ/QC
Q12 – Trisecting a segment in three ways: parallelogram, Q11 method and centroid
📚 Concepts used: parallelogram tests, the Midpoint Theorem and its converse (Theorem 7), the Centroid Theorem, and area of a trapezium.
