Rare Automatic Paratrooper's Knife Restoration

In this video, I restore a rare old automatic paratrooper's knife. The knife was in poor condition and its mechanism was broken — the blade would no longer lock in place. I had never restored this particular type of paratrooper knife before, so I was especially curious to see how the automatic mechanism worked inside. I completely disassembled the knife, removed the rust and dirt, restored the damaged parts, and carefully rebuilt the mechanism. My goal was to preserve the original character of this unusual military knife while making it fully functional again. How old do you think this knife is? Let me know in the comments. I hope you enjoy the restoration and the relaxing workshop sounds.
