Open Gate Conversations with Spilata | Open Gate Network

Who in the hell left the gate open? Welcome to Open Gate Conversations, an original interview series from Open Gate Network featuring candid, thoughtful conversations with the artists, creators, and culture-shapers moving the music forward. For our second episode, host Keanna Faircloth sits down with Spilata, a boundary-pushing vocalist, songwriter, and artist whose creative vision moves freely between jazz, contemporary sounds, and unexpected musical territory. In this conversation, we explore artistic identity, reinvention, creative freedom, and what it means to build a musical world that refuses to be defined by a single genre. From his distinctive artistic expression to the music that has captured listeners' attention, Spilata shares his perspective on individuality, evolution, and making art on his own terms. Recorded in an intimate setting, this conversation goes beyond the music to explore the person, perspective, and creative spirit behind the artistry.
