These easy healthier pumpkin cookies will turn any frown upside down!
THIS IS A COOK-ALONG VIDEO DESIGNED FOR KIDS & GROWN-UPS.

SAFETY FIRST: Adult supervision required, as always! Cooking involves hot stoves, ovens, pans, sharp knives and appliances. Please ensure an adult handles heating, cutting and appliance steps as needed.
INGREDIENTS:
(A box of "Spice Cake" mix - just the dry ingredients OR make it from scratch with these ingredients):
1 1/4 c. flour
1 c. packed brown sugar
2 T. cornstarch
2 t. baking powder
2 t. pumpkin pie spice
1/2 t. ground ginger
pinch of salt
1 can of pumpkin puree
1 c. chocolate chips
OPTIONAL ICING:
1 c. powdered sugar
1/2 t. vanilla
sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice
1-2 T. milk or water
TOOLS:
Measuring cups and spoons
Big bowl & spoon
baking sheet & parchment
cooling rack
whisk
