We headed deep into the White Mountains of New Hampshire for a winter camping trip we thought would be cold… just not that cold. The forecast said around -8°F — manageable with the right gear and experience. What we actually got was -22°F overnight. In this episode we push our skills, gear, and decision-making to the limit. From setting camp on frozen ground, managing moisture, keeping water from freezing solid, and staying warm through the night — everything mattered. One mistake in temperatures like this can turn serious fast. We stayed safe because of preparation, layering systems, shelter setup, and years of cold-weather experience. This is not a beginner trip and definitely not something to attempt without proper knowledge, planning, and backup plans. This video is for learning and entertainment — not encouragement. Extreme cold camping can be dangerous and life-threatening if you don’t know exactly what you’re doing. Watch, learn, and respect the cold. #WinterCamping #ExtremeCold #WhiteMountains #survivalskills #snowcamp #wildernesssurvival #winterskills #safetyfirst #wildernessskills
