加拿大新家開箱！信用紀錄一片空白，怎麼從台灣遠端成功租房？

身為信用紀錄一片空白、剛登入加拿大伺服器的新手玩家，我們還在台灣時，就花了一個多月從各大租屋平台、Facebook Marketplace 線上找房，前前後後傳了幾十封訊息，結果大多石沉大海🥲 當時甚至已經做好最壞的打算：如果真的找不到房子，就先住 Airbnb，抵達加拿大之後再看房。 幸好！最後遇到貴人幫忙，讓我們在出發前順利找到 St. Catharines 的新家！也才發現，原來人在台灣除了焦慮跟乾等，其實還是有不少資料可以先準備好，增加成功租到房子的機會。 這集除了帶大家開箱我們在加拿大的第一個家、Room Tour，也會分享： ・怎麼在台灣遠端找加拿大租屋？ ・當初都用哪些方式找房？ ・沒有加拿大 Credit History，租房到底有多艱難？ ・Newcomer 可以提前準備哪些資料？ ・找房過程中遇到了哪些插曲？ ・最後又是怎麼成功租到這間房子的？ 希望我們的經驗，可以給同樣準備搬到加拿大、正在加拿大找房的你一些幫助！ With zero Canadian credit history and having just logged into the Canadian server as brand-new players, we spent over a month searching for a place while we were still in Taiwan. We looked everywhere—from rental websites to Facebook Marketplace—and sent out dozens of messages, only to hear… mostly crickets. 🥲 At one point, we were already preparing for Plan B: if we couldn’t find a place before leaving Taiwan, we’d stay in an Airbnb first and continue house hunting after arriving in Canada. Luckily, we eventually met someone who gave us a huge helping hand, and we managed to secure our new home in St. Catharines before the move! Along the way, we also realized that instead of just anxiously waiting around in Taiwan, there were actually quite a few things we could prepare in advance to improve our chances of finding a place.
