In this video I take a single night with suspicious activity around the SM4 audio recorder and talk about why I find it to be suspicious.
I've talked about it multiple times over the years but I wanted to give an example of how I've found the target subjects seem to behave in all the area's I've done long term recording studies in. They do not make a lot of noise and generally if the target subjects are in the area of my recorders there will only be one or two vocals and a few percussive sounds.
My opinion about this is based upon years of data collection. This is the kind of thing I set out to do 10 years ago. To be able to say to myself and others this is what I've seen and heard over many years happening in these areas as it relates to possible Sasquatch activity with no human presence. To be able to monitor multiple areas with little to no human activity in them at the time of recording and paint a picture of our target subjects.
They do not make a lot of noise on a regular basis. On very rare occasions, maybe once a year, you will have nights with multiple animals making lots of sound. Based on my data I believe these occasions generally occur when new animals come into the area. At least in the Nest Area I believe there are 3 individuals living around that ravine year round, most likely a female and her offspring while on a few occasions at least 1-3 other individuals, possibly males, have come into the area causing several nights to be very noisy. But the vast majority of the time over the last 4 years the audio in this video is what a typical night will sound like when our regulars are in the ravine.
