Lesson Title: AS/A Level Physics: Use of falling-ball method to find the viscosity of a liquid (graphical method) Lesson Objectives: To outline the graphical method of finding the viscosity using the falling-ball method Description: In this video I outline how to find the viscosity of a liquid using the falling-ball method. It is a tricky practical and there is quite a lot to take it. You need to understand what term terminal velocity means and the use of Stoke's law when the ball bearing reaches terminal velocity, There is quite a lot of algebra here and look carefully at why I am plotting a graph of v against r^2. You need to be able to relate the Physics equation we derive to the equation of the straight line also as the gradient is used to determine the viscosity About CeerazzleDazzlePhysics Who am I?
