Back to Mayo | Black Meridian Records

Back to Mayo — an Irish folk song about coming home, walking the hills above Clew Bay with your father, and choosing the long way down. An old pair of boots by the kitchen door. A shared flask of tea. A familiar story you finally have time to hear. “Take the long way down Tell that story one more time.” From Black Meridian Records. AI production disclosure: Music and vocals were generated using Suno. The song concept, selection and creative direction are part of the Black Meridian Records project. The artwork is an imagined scene inspired by Mayo, not documentary footage. If this song reminds you of someone, tell us who — and where you would take the long way home.
