The world-famous Rob Halford was not the band’s first vocalist. Before him, Priest’s frontman was Al Atkins, who also delivered raw heavy metal. No official albums were ever released with him, and he left the band in 1973, giving way to the already legendary Rob. But there is at least one known demo recording with Atkins. Mind Conception - sessions from July 1971. It includes two demos: Mind Conception and Holy Is The Man. Yes, the quality isn’t the best, but that’s exactly what we share — raw, unpolished, untamed. Our team did its best to bring out the maximum quality from these recordings. Enjoy listening.
