2006 Toyota 4Runner JBL Stereo Upgrade | Idoing Android Head Unit Install

I finally upgraded the stereo in my 4th gen Toyota 4Runner, and honestly… it was time. 😂 In this video, I’m installing the Idoing 9-inch Android head unit in my 2006 Toyota 4Runner with the factory JBL sound system. This setup adds a much more modern feel to the rig with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, GPS/navigation, steering wheel control support, and a big touchscreen that makes the old factory radio feel like it came from a museum. This is one of those upgrades that doesn’t just look nice — it actually makes the 4Runner better for road trips, overlanding days, trail maps, music, calls, and all the little “where are we going next?” moments. Because let’s be honest, if I’m going to spend this much time in the rig, I want the stereo situation to work with me, not against me. 🌲🚙 Stereo used in this video: https://www.idoingstereo.com/products... *Please note this is an affiliate code but I am promoting my genuine experience Vehicle: 2006 Toyota 4Runner 4th Gen Factory JBL sound system Features I was excited about: *9-inch touchscreen JBL sound system compatibility Android 14 system Wireless/wired CarPlay (or Android Auto for Samsung users) Bluetooth 5.0 GPS/navigation support Steering wheel control support OEM camera support DSP / 32-band EQ audio settings As always, double-check fitment for your exact 4Runner setup before ordering, especially if you have the JBL system or factory amp.
