Welcome to today’s Inktober. Today’s word prompt is ‘Toss’, and at first I thought about continuing my Lord of the Rings theme, and drawing Gimli getting tossed through the air. But I felt that I couldn’t make him justice, and instead I settled for a lifebuoy getting tossed through the air towards a person – or creature! – who has sunk underwater. I’ll also talk a little bit about crosshatching and how to build up your ink illustrations in different layers to create a visually interesting image. I’m also continuing my black lettering calligraphy practice, and I’m using a semi-correct version of Old English. Tomorrow’s word prompt for Inktober is ‘Flimsy’ and I’ve no idea what to draw, so if you have any suggestions, feel free to share them in a comment below! Cheers/ Tove ~ Thanks for watching!
