UDS | Unified Diagnostics Services | 0x11 | ECU Reset UDS defines the communication mechanism between a Diagnostic Tester and Electronic control unit for DTC reading, ECU programming, Clearing DTC etc. UDS services enable diagnostic tester to write some calibration parameters, Adjustment values and control output actuators for diagnostic purpose. It also enables diagnostic tester to read real time signal values from ECU for efficient diagnostics of the Vehicle.
