Since 2010, CooperarPerú has worked directly with rural indigenous communities (such as Tancarpata and Huaypo Lake) to break educational gaps, foster healthy daily habits, and provide nutritious afternoon snacks to fight childhood anemia. We believe that meaningful change does not come from passive charity, but from genuine horizontal cooperation: sharing knowledge, building self-esteem, and empowering children to become the leaders of their own future. Our volunteer program is free of participation fees, welcoming educators, psychologists, social workers, and passionate individuals from all over the world who want to make a real, sustainable community impact in the Peruvian Andes. 🌟 Key Focus Areas of Our Project:Active Education: Homework support, interactive learning, and language reinforcement for children in rural Cusco. Health & Nutrition: Daily hygiene routines (hand and dental washing) and iron-rich meals combating childhood anemia.
