Frank Sinatra Invited Chuck Berry On Stage to Mock Him — Nobody Expected the Song Chuck Played

Frank Sinatra pointed at the man in the wings, 1,200 people in black tie laughed, and nobody in that Hollywood studio knew the backstage secrets that had already turned the joke around. Behind the duck walk and the grin stood the architect of rock and roll, a man who counted his own cash, refused to rehearse, and let one guitar say what a whole room refused to hear. In the next four minutes, one double-stop bend and one song about a phone call rewrote Sinatra's view of rock, a small piece of untold rock history from the origins of rock. If you love Chuck Berry stories and guitar legends, tell us in the comments what you think Frank Sinatra heard in that song.
