Deep into the Victorian High Country, things don’t always go to plan… Late last year, we headed into the Great Dividing Range with the GQ, Paddy and a stock Hilux for a proper High Country adventure. But after plenty of recent rain, the tracks were wet, muddy and unpredictable — and it didn’t take long before the trip started testing both the rigs and the drivers. From deep muddy ruts and river crossings to steep climbs, recoveries and some of the best scenery the Victorian High Country has to offer, this trip had a bit of everything.
