This track uses one affirmation throughout. I kept it simple on purpose so there’s one clear message being repeated instead of a bunch of different ideas competing with each other. AFFIRMATION: I am completely free to be myself. I’ve been listening to subliminals since 2015, and I’ve watched things happen in my life that I genuinely used to think were impossible for me. A lot of my old self-concept was built from trauma I went through really young, so I spent years carrying negative beliefs about myself that I didn’t even realize were beliefs. Once I started changing that inner story, the way I saw myself changed, and my life started changing with it too. The basic idea is that your subconscious gets familiar with whatever you keep feeding it. What feels normal to you affects what you expect from yourself, what you notice, what you tolerate, what you go after, and ultimately how you experience your life. That’s where ALTEREGO FM came from. I don’t see an alter ego as pretending to be someone else. It’s still you. We all have different versions of ourselves already in us: confident, insecure, abundant, fearful, magnetic, withdrawn, whatever. The one you keep thinking from and reinforcing is the one that gets louder. These tracks are basically a way of choosing which version of yourself gets more airtime. There’s no required number of listens. I actually think obsessing over whether something is “working” can keep your attention stuck on not having it yet.
