The 4 Step Approach to Picking Winning Stocks ft. JR Alexander

JR Alexander is the co-founder of Stock Sharks, a research driven investing platform with over 1.2 million followers. But before the following, the platform, and the community, he was a college basketball player who dropped out in his third year. He took a job at a bank, kept learning the markets, and spent years trading his own money and figuring it out alone. Then he teamed up with Sheraz Ali. Sheraz handled the social media and JR handled the research. They launched one of the first finance pages on Instagram, and it grew into a community with members from New York, the UK, Toronto, Japan, and Indonesia. In this episode, JR breaks down how he finds winning stocks, his four step approach, how he follows the smart money, why he never trades off hype, and the lessons he learned the hard way.
