The Drone Attack That Paralyzed Russia's Entire Frontline

On the night of November 4, Ukrainian drones set fire to an Ozon warehouse in Adygeysk, near Krasnodar. Ozon is the company Russians call their Amazon. The next night, drones hit a Wildberries warehouse near Ryazan, Russia's biggest online store, and set the Ryazan oil refinery on fire in the same city. We follow the campaign from the first strike in Kotovsk in July to Yekaterinburg, Koledino, St. Petersburg and Omsk, the crash in Ozon's shares, the 30.1 billion rubles Ozon says it has lost, and the reason Ukraine keeps coming back: in Russia, the army shops online. Here, we explain. You decide. Subscribe. Data as of 5 November 2026. Damage at the Adygeysk and Ryazan sites is based on official statements, local videos and Ukrainian channels; the full extent is not confirmed.
