Outback song

The Story Behind "Outback" The song "Outback" was born right in the kitchen of my Swansea Heads home, just south of Newcastle, N.S.W. It was the night before a tour. I was packing up supplies to load into the aircraft at Aeropelican, getting ready to pilot the band inland the next morning. I was the vocalist for our band, Rimshot, and it was my job to fly us to the gigs while the roadies and the gear followed in the truck. Right in the middle of preparing, the song just hit me. I grabbed my guitar, the words and melody came together, and that was it. By the time I was packed, "Outback" was done and ready for the world.
