New Orleans You Got A Hold On Me |Becky Bahija Sullivan

🎺 New Orleans Got a Hold on Me | Becky Bahija Sullivan | Original New Orleans Jazz Some cities you visit. Others get into your soul. And New Orleans? Well, New Orleans got a hold on me! 💜🎷 “New Orleans Got a Hold on Me” is my original, upbeat celebration of one of America's most unforgettable cities, inspired by my own adventures in the Big Easy! From the music-filled streets of Bourbon Street and Frenchmen Street to powdered-sugar-covered beignets, steaming bowls of gumbo, jambalaya, and the irresistible rhythm of New Orleans jazz, this song captures the magic of a city unlike anywhere else. But New Orleans is more than music and delicious food. My travels also took me through the haunting history of St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 and Marie Laveau, the painful legacy of Louisiana's plantations, and the devastation and resilience that followed Hurricane Katrina. And then there was my adventure in the Louisiana bayou, where an airboat ride, some alligators, and a little chicken made for a story I'll never forget! 🐊😂 With lively brass, funky blues piano, a booming sousaphone, and that unmistakable second-line rhythm, this song is meant to make you smile, laugh, dance, and maybe crave another bowl of gumbo! Because once New Orleans gets into your heart, it never really lets go. 🎶 Original song by Becky Bahija Sullivan #NewOrleansGotAHoldOnMe #BeckyBahijaSullivan #NewOrleans #NewOrleansJazz #TheBigEasy #LouisianaAdventures #SecondLineJazz #OriginalMusic
