Today I’m sharing my Jamaican Soup-Style Fish Boil — a hearty, flavorful one-pot meal made with fish, Boil eggs, franks, Irish potatoes, corn, pumpkin, carrots, and delicious Jamaican herbs and seasonings. This recipe is simple, comforting, and packed with flavor. The fish is seasoned with just black pepper and salt, then steamed in a flavorful broth with all the vegetables and ingredients coming together in one pot. 🛒 Ingredients Fish Eggs Franks Irish potatoes Corn Cock soup Onion *Butter Scallion Thyme Garlic Bell pepper Hot pepper Pimento seeds Carrots Pumpkin Oil Black pepper Salt Adobo All-Purpose seasoning Water 👩🏾‍🍳 Directions Clean the fish and cut off the fins. Wash the fish thoroughly with water and vinegar. Season the fish with black pepper and salt and set aside. Heat a little oil in a pot. Add the onion, scallion, thyme, garlic, bell pepper, hot pepper, and pimento seeds. Sauté until fragrant. Add the carrots and diced pumpkin and sauté for a few minutes. Add 1½ cups of water and the cock soup add the irish potato’s and the corn Stir and allow it to simmer for a little while. Place the seasoned fish into the pot. Add a little Adobo All-Purpose seasoning, cover, and allow the fish to steam. Boil eggs separate then you can peel the eggs and add to the pot Add the franks, and Cover and allow everything to cook together until the potatoes are tender, the fish is cooked, and all the flavors come together.
