🚨 *LADAKH TRIP IN DANGER! 😱 LANDSLIDES, FLASH FLOODS & ARMY ROADBLOCK!* 🚙⚡🏔️ *Amritsar to Poonch in our Mahindra XEV 9e — a 400 KM journey that turned into one of the toughest adventures of our Gujarat to Ladakh EV Road Trip!* Welcome to Episode 4 of our *6,000+ KM Gujarat to Leh Ladakh Family EV Adventure* on *Sharmaji YouTubewale!* 🇮🇳 After reaching Amritsar in Episode 3, we started our journey towards Srinagar and Leh Ladakh in our Mahindra XEV 9e electric SUV. But heavy rainfall, flash floods, massive landslides and damaged roads across Jammu & Kashmir completely changed our plans! 🌧️ *AMRITSAR TO RAJOURI — THE STRUGGLE BEGINS!* Road closures and unexpected diversions forced us to reroute repeatedly. With help from locals and the Indian Army, we somehow reached Rajouri after dark. As landslides continued, we decided to avoid further risks and stayed overnight in Rajouri. ⛰️ *RAJOURI TO POONCH — ANOTHER BIG SURPRISE!* The next morning, we resumed our journey towards Srinagar via the historic Mughal Road. Just as we entered Poonch district, approximately 175 KM from Srinagar, the Indian Army stopped us at **Bhimber Gali (BG) Check Post**. The jawans explained that the road towards *Pir Ki Gali* was severely affected by landslides. Huge rocks were falling from the mountains, and vehicles had reportedly been stranded on the route. Despite our requests, permission to continue was denied for our safety. We were advised to return towards Rajouri and take an alternate route via *Sunderbani, Bhamla and Katra* to connect with the Srinagar–Leh Highway. ❤️ *JAAN HAI TOH JAHAAN HAI!* After travelling approximately 400 KM from Amritsar towards Poonch, our plan to reach Srinagar and continue towards Leh had been completely disrupted. 🇮🇳 *BALAKOT, BHIMBER GALI & WING COMMANDER ABHINANDAN!* At Bhimber Gali, near the sensitive India–Pakistan border region, Army personnel shared fascinating stories about the nearby mountains, Balakot and the **2019 India–Pakistan aerial confrontation involving Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman**. Hearing accounts of the aerial dogfight, Abhinandan's capture across the border and his eventual return to India made this unexpected stop even more memorable.
