That's Danny Raye. His music lives somewhere between Rockabilly, early Rock ’n’ Roll, rhythm & blues and the teenage records of the late 1950s and early 1960s. The recordings are intentionally created with a vintage character: raw arrangements, slapback-style vocals, twangy guitars, upright bass and the imperfect energy of early Rock ’n’ Roll. Some songs are wild. Some are funny. Some tell little stories.
