Reform UK's 18-year-old council leader George Finch silences a furious left-wing pundit live on TV. On Jeremy Vine, the teenage leader of Warwickshire County Council goes head-to-head with Marina Purkiss over British history, the British Empire, the Pride flag, Black History Month and Reform UK. George Finch explains why he wanted to become a history teacher and gave up because of how British history is taught in schools: only the bad, never the good. When Marina Purkiss raises the British Empire, he doesn't back down. He admits terrible things happened, but says we must also teach the good. When she challenges him over removing the Progress Pride flag from Warwickshire County Council, he calmly points out that it didn't have planning permission, and that council buildings should fly the St George's flag, the Union flag and the county flag for all 630,000 residents. Then, as the conversation turns to Reform's Makerfield by-election candidate, the pundit loses her temper live on air.
