Beyond the Black Rainbow (2010) Movie Review & Discussion | Knight Light Horror Podcast

Beyond the Black Rainbow (2010) is a psychedelic sci-fi horror movie from director Panos Cosmatos. On this episode of Knight Light: A Horror Movie Podcast, we review it and break down the visuals, the synth score, and that creeping sense of dread. It’s 1983, and the Arboria Institute promises you happiness. Real, scientific, guaranteed happiness. The halls hum. The walls glow red. A calm voice tells you to relax and keep your eyes on the pyramid. You are not allowed to leave your room. Elena has never seen the outside world, and the man who studies her has very specific ideas about what she is. Something in this place is real. Something is a hallucination. Something is a side effect of the treatment. The film never tells you which, and it never apologizes for it. Stay in the hum long enough and you’ll stop asking what’s happening. You’ll start asking who’s watching you. Subscribe for a new horror movie episode every week. Join the Ghoulish Knights on Patreon:
