Bergman Bowl | Keystone Resort, Colorado | March 3 & 6, 2026
March 2026 would become Colorado's warmest March on record, during a ski season that ultimately produced the lowest mountain snowpack in the state's recorded history.
Against that backdrop, we explored Bergman Bowl at Keystone Resort on March 3, encountering wind-scoured hardpack, exposed vegetation, and exceptionally thin snow coverage.
Just three days later, a much-needed winter storm brought a reported 13 inches of fresh snow to Keystone. We returned to Bergman Bowl on March 6 to experience a remarkable change in conditions.
This video documents both days through extended, minimally edited POV descents, offering a firsthand comparison of the mountain before and after the storm.
*Featured terrain:*
March 3 — Upper Wichita, continuing between Grays and Torreys.
March 6 — Terrain between Torreys and Red, beneath Bergman Express.
Bonus — An additional powder descent filmed with the Insta360.
The routes cover neighboring terrain rather than identical lines, providing two perspectives on Bergman Bowl during an extraordinary Colorado ski season.
Filmed with the GoPro HERO13 Black and Insta360. Natural mountain audio, without a music soundtrack.
