I BUILT A SURVEY-GRADE GNSS BASE + ROVER PPK/RTK FOR UNDER $600!!! (Free software + build list)

In this video, I present to you an affordable solution for gathering RTK-fixed ground control points and logging portable base station PPK data for well under half the price of an industry-grade setup (Emlid, Trimble, DJI, Carlson). The build features ZED-F9P-01B-01 GNSS boards, which are powerful cheap multiband receivers. It also features STM32 boards, which handle the receiver interface and SD card datalogging. A compatible custom Android app makes the user-interface much more field friendly. The base station logs a .ubx file to microSD for PPK, while the rover logs separate .ubx’s for each recorded point, and a .csv list populated with the averaged coordinates for each stored point to microSD. The Android device also stores a duplicate .csv on your phone, and allows you to store photos for each point. The Rover can also be used with apps like SW MAPS via bluetooth link/NMEA stream.
