The MRT-5 Southern line will run from Gabtoli to Dasherkandi in Demra, while the Northern route will extend from Hemayetpur in Savar to Notun Bazar. Additionally, the MRT-1 line will operate on the route from the Airport to Kamalapur. ECNEC has approved over Tk 1.5 lakh crore for these three projects.
