Murcia is a city in southeastern Spain, and also the capital of the region of the same name. It has a long history, dating back to its founding in 825 AD. The city boasts a rich cultural and historical heritage, with a beautiful blend of architectural styles evident in its cathedral and palaces. Murcia enjoys a warm climate with sunshine most of the year, and is a popular tourist destination thanks to its stunning coastline, known as the Costa Cálida. The city itself has a population of around 447,000 people. Our guided walking tour is about 3.1 miles (5 km) long, starts at Cardinal Belluga Square and covers most attractions and historic sites of Murcia.
