Celebration of Life of Willie Earl White.

Willie Earl White, born December 14, 1950, in Dermott, Arkansas, passed away on September 7, 2026. Willie was a 1970 graduate of Chicot County High School. He continued his education at Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock, carrying forward a steady determination that would remain with him throughout his life. He also served his country with honor in the United States Army for two years, including service during the Vietnam War. He was truly one of a kind—very loving and caring, never afraid to share his honest opinion, and known as a leader who earned the respect of those around him. Willie was hardworking and stylish, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and above all a family man. Family was everything to him, and he passed that legacy down to his children in a way that will continue to shape those who love him. Willie found joy in simple and meaningful pursuits. He coached AAU Basketball and believed everyone should know how to play basketball, sharing both his knowledge and his enthusiasm with others. He loved hunting, gardening, yardwork, and old western movies. He also spent time training hunting dogs for himself and for other hunters, a reflection of his patience, skill, and love for the outdoors. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dianne White, his partner of 47 years. He also leaves to cherish his memory his children: Rodney White (Carolyn), Keith Danzie (Beverly), Michael White, Derrick White, Latosha White, and Ashley White. He is also survived by several siblings, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In the lives of his family, Willie’s love, strength, and example will remain a lasting gift. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifton White; his mother, Bertha Scales Robinson; and his brothers, Jimmy Lee Robinson and Ronnie White. A funeral service for Willie Earl White will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home (8801 Knoedl Ct., Little Rock). Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery (1501 W Maryland Ave, North Little Rock).
