I Still Love Shortwave

Outside of uploading reels of my job experiences in the TV industry, it's been a really long time since I have made a video about anything that wasn't a part of my job. What better way to get back into YouTube with my first video being the reason I got into journalism and make videos on here in the past...shortwave radio. I admit I kind of ramble a bit and this isn't a compreshive, long video, but I tackle why I still find shortwave listening a fun hobby in 2026 despite how stations have left the air in the past couple of decades. I will start making more videos in the near future talking about various things that aren't radio related, but I could potentially revist the topic later on if something interests me. This video is shot using a Canon EOS R100 mirrorless camera and some clips from an iPhone 17. This project has also been edited using Davinci Resolve Studio, which is a non-linear editing suite that I want to get more accustomed to using instead of Edius that I use at my current job!
