St. Lucy of Syracuse, Patron Saint of Eyes

Humanly researched, written and narrated. Even though St. Lucy lived so long ago that there is little known about her, it is extraordinary that she has remained a beloved and venerated figure in Christianity for over 1700 years. In this episode, I share my personal story of how St. Lucy saved me from blindness, and explore what we know about this third-century virgin and martyr, and how she is celebrated around the world today.
