This video was shot using a drone on Koh Ngai Island, within Koh Lanta National Park, during the summer low season. You can admire the blue seascapes, the tropical island coastline free of crowds, crystal-clear waters, palm trees, and the island's lush green hills. You will see nearby small rocky islands—such as Ko Maa and Ko Chueak—which are known for excellent diving and snorkeling. You will also get a bird's-eye view of the Koh Ngai Resort Port and the Koh Hai Fantasy Resort & Spa. Filming this video required permission from the Mu Ko Lanta National Park authorities. A huge thank you to the park staff who processed our application and issued on-line the flight permit for the National Park; the flight would not have been possible without their assistance. A few words for those wishing to visit Koh Ngai island during the low season: there is no regular speedboat ferry service during this time. You will need to arrange a trip with private long-tail boat owners directly at Pak Meng Pier in Trang or at the Koh Lanta Old Town Pier in Lanta Old Town. When planning your trip, be sure to check the weather forecast. It is best to choose calm days with wind speeds below 9 m/s; otherwise, you might get seasick, or the boat operators might refuse to make the trip. Enjoy the video!
