Shabdam - Ramayana from Niti Rowdur’s Bharatanatya Arangetram, performed on 1 August 2026 at Bhavans Auditorium, Hyderabad. Ramayana Shabdam beautifully brings episodes from the Ramayana from Sita kalyanam to sundarakandam, to life through expressive abhinaya, graceful movements and rhythmic footwork. Through Bharatanatyam, the dancer portrays devotion, courage and the triumph of good over evil, celebrating the timeless story of Lord Rama. An Abinaya composition of Smt K Lalitha Ammayar, this shabdam is set in Ragamalika and Misrachapu talam.
