Day 9: Novena to Our Lady of Knock - Potatoes, Faith and Miracles.

Today we hear from Father about his surprising harvest of gigantic potatoes on the Assumption of Mary. He takes it as encouragement that the novena has been registered in heaven and that Our Lord, Our Lady, St. Joseph and the Blessed Disciple, John the Apostle have taken notice. He also reads selections from Chapter 10 entitled "Additional Records of Favors and Cures" from the book: "Our Lady of Knock: in Picture and Story" by William D. Coyne, District Judge of Knock, Co. Mayo Ireland. Published in 1948 by Catholic Book Publishing Co. New York. August 12-20th. On August 21st, 1879, An apparition occurred on the back side of the parish church in Knock, County Mayo, Ireland. The Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Joseph, and St. John the Evangelist appeared on the Gospel side of a lamb standing before a cross upon an altar.
