My first charity art gala in Accra! 🤍 This weekend was a little bit of everything — from a busy morning of studying and getting ready, to attending my first charity art gala, seeing incredible artwork, watching the beautiful Cry of the River performance, and learning more about the message behind the event. The evening centred around water, pollution and the impact our everyday actions have on our rivers and oceans. Some of the artwork even incorporated discarded clothing, turning waste into something meaningful and thought-provoking. I also got to see artwork selling for as much as $8,000 😳, and honestly, the whole experience was unforgettable. The next day was a much quieter one — a dentist appointment, studying at home, and then a Sunday birthday brunch with friends.
