Holy Mass | Twenty-Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Join us as we come together as one parish family to celebrate the Holy Mass for the Twenty-Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish. In today’s Gospel from Matthew, Jesus teaches us about the importance of forgiveness and mercy through the parable of the unforgiving servant. We are reminded that just as God freely forgives us, we are called to extend that same forgiveness to others. Christ challenges us to let go of resentment, seek reconciliation, and recognize the mercy we have received from God. The readings invite us to examine our hearts and consider how we respond when others hurt or disappoint us. May we have the grace to forgive, the humility to seek forgiveness, and the courage to choose love over anger and division. We pray especially for those struggling to forgive, for families and relationships in need of healing, for our parish community and families, and for all who seek God's mercy and peace. “Should you not have had pity on your fellow servant, as I had pity on you?” — Matthew 18:33 May this Holy Mass renew our faith and help us to become a people who live and share the mercy of Christ.
