🍔 BYE BYE MONEY — PART 1: FAST FOOD Fast food used to mean cheap, convenient, and filling. But these days, it feels like we're paying premium prices for food that doesn't always deliver premium quality. In Part 1 of my “Bye Bye Money” series, we're talking about FAST FOOD — the rising prices, shrinking portions, declining quality, and the strange reality that many restaurants may be sourcing ingredients from the same major suppliers, yet somehow we're paying completely different prices depending on where we order. So the question is… where is your money actually going? 💸 Are we really paying for better food? Better ingredients? Better service? Or are we simply paying more because companies know we're willing to pay? And if the food is getting smaller, the prices are getting higher, and the quality isn't what it used to be… WHY ARE WE STILL BUYING IT? 👀 🤔 LET'S THINK ABOUT IT: When did fast food stop being fast AND affordable? Why are prices increasing while portions seem to be getting smaller? If multiple restaurants are buying from the same suppliers, why can the price difference be so massive? Are we paying for the food… or are we paying for the brand, convenience, and marketing? At what point does fast food become so expensive that cooking at home makes more sense? Are we actually getting more for our money, or are we just getting better at accepting higher prices? And the biggest question: How much longer are consumers willing to say “that's just what it costs now”? This is Part 1 of BYE BYE MONEY, where we're taking a closer look at the things we spend our hard-earned money on—and asking whether they're actually worth it. Watch the reaction, drop your opinion in the comments, and tell me: What's the most overpriced fast-food item you've bought recently? 👇
