The Yampa River and Green River have carved out canyons that have been home to humans for over a thousand years. Echo Park in the Dinosaur National Monument is a must to visit, Steamboat Rock towers over the confluence of the Yampa and Green river. The Dinosaur Quarry fossil bed is in the west side of the park in Utah. The east side of the park in Colorado has the scenic view.
