Internationally acclaimed Netherlands-based choreographer Marina Mascarell lands in our Wharf Studios next week! We’re jumping straight into the creation of a world premiere for our triple bill, ‘Ascent’. It has been six years since Sydney Dance Company last commissioned an international choreographer and we are beyond excited to share Marina’s rebellious creative vision with you. Recently appointed as Artistic Director of Denmark Dance Theatre, Marina’s work investigates dance as an act of resistance that challenges what is 'known'.
